Foundation for Pinoy cops and soldiers launched
WASHINGTON DC, USA – Filipino policemen and soldiers and on training in the United States who may need assistance can get help from a Fil-Am foundation dedicated solely to assist them.
Mistah Foundation <http://www.mistahfoundation.org/> was formally launched at the Philippine Embassy here on Friday (October 1, 2010).
Present during the launching were officials from the embassy led by Ambassador Willy Gaa and Office of Police Attaché head, Chief Superintendent Armando Ramolete.
Richard Gubatan, a Fil-Am Dagupeño, led the group from the Foundation side. He, joined by the foundation’s officers and directors, met and conferred with embassy officials on the mechanics of the foundation, a non-profit organization.
“We offer the foundation as a vehicle to groups and individuals who share the burden of building the capacity of our police and military,” said Gubatan.
The foundation is based at 3215 Hanover Road, Johnson City TN 37604, USA.
