THE Sustainable Sanitation in East Asia (SuSEA) project has been concluded and an End-of-Program Dialogue and Closing Ceremony will be held on August 17 with representatives from Dagupan participating in the event.

The dialogue is intended for an exchange of experiences and insights gained from the SuSEA project, as well as give recognition to the partners for the support and commitment to the project, and allow local government units to present future plans and initiatives towards sustainable sanitation.

Dagupan City is among the six partner local government units of SuSEA.

The sustainable sanitation program of the SuSEA, which started in July 23, 2007, seeks to provide support to national and local government in developing strategies and program interventions in pursuit of sustainable sanitation.

Dagupan’s representatives include Councilors Jesus Canto and Karlos Reyna; City Health Officer Dr. Leonard Carbonell, City Planning Development Officer Engr. Romeo Rosario, Executive Assistant III Maximo Alexis Tan, City Information Officer Behn Fer Hortaleza Jr. and City Agriculturist Emma Molina.
