THE University of Pangasinan-PHINMA inaugurated on July 23 the PHINMA Technology Center, the latest installment in its five-year campus development plan.

The four-storey building will house fully air-conditioned classrooms and computer laboratories, a speech lab, and the university’s professional schools.

Since PHINMA’s entry into UPang in November, the campus has seen new facilities such as the Nursing and Culinary Arts Center with a mock hospital, a mock hotel, a fully-equipped kitchen and a barista center.

Several other buildings and offices have also been renovated.

PHINMA president Ramon del Rosario, Jr. said the physical improvements have been complemented by faculty and curriculum development, increased involvement in the community and utilization of PHINMA’s network.

He added the company’s goal is to create a national-class university in Pangasinan.
