SAN Carlos City–Mayor Julier C. Resuello, speaking before the first session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod last week, asked the city councilors to “Let bygones be bygones”.

Resuello rallied the SP members to forget about squabbles and partisanship that he said were inevitable during the campaign period.

The priority now, the mayor said, is to begin working for the good of San Carlos and set aside the negative sentiments.

The mayor expressed optimism that the city council will support to the city government’s programs summed up in the slogan “San Carlos Maayos”.

The SP is chaired by the Vice Mayor Joseres Resuello, the mayor’s brother while the

Presiding Officer Pro tempore is Councilor Amy Cayabyab.

Elected Majority Floor leader is Councilor Mienrado Ynzon while Assistant Majority Floor leader is Councilor Voltaire Enrico Cabuay. Councilor Jack Lester Soriano is Minority Floorleader while Councilor RJ Bernal assumed the newly-created position of Assistant Minority Floorleader.

The SP also confirmed the appointment of three co-terminus appointees, namely: Administrator Manuel Sison and Secretary to the Mayor Christian Yap. Reappointed was City Information Officer Rachel Sapigao.
