THE ‘PEOPLE POWER’ JUMP—Students of Lyceum Northwestern University join former President Fidel V. Ramos on stage in his signature “freedom jump” during the first stop of the nationwide book tour and documentary roadshow “Pilipinas: The story behind the Glory” held September 14 at the school’s Dr. Salvador Duque Fieldhouse. The event promotes the book Silver Linings: 25 years of EDSA People Power Revolution and also puts on show the film Tagapagligtas, a one-hour documentary on the Philippine National Police Special Action Force. The book’s author Melandrew Velasco, co-author Gen. Reynaldo Velasco and the producer, former Interior and Local Government Secretary Rafael Alunan III were also present during the event.
