KILLING THE RIVERS SLOWLY—After Typhoon Pepeng struck down most of the fish pens in Dagupan City giving the rivers and their tributaries temporary relief, the fish pens are back with a vengeance, leaving only a few meters for a banca’s passage. (Lower photo) Truckloads of feeds are being unloaded for the newly erected fish pens’ use that would expectedly worsen the siltation in the area.
