Priests celebrate 1st Clergy Day
ABOUT 220 priests from Pangasinan and neighboring provinces will celebrate the 1st Clergy Day on Feb. 15 at the CSI Stadia in Dagupan City.
The event, initiated by Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas, is in commemoration of the 150th death anniversary of St John Mary Vianney, patron of parish priests.
“We will pray together, share experiences, play, honor our jubilarian priests and eat together,” Villegas said.
The participating priests will come from the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan, the Dioceses of Alaminos, Urdaneta, Cabanatuan, San Jose in Nueva Ecija and San Fernando in La Union.#
