ROSALES–SM City Rosales recently organized a charity ball for the Philippine National Red Cross, Pangasinan Chapter to contribute to funds for the victims of Typhoon “Pepeng”, particularly those who continue to reside at the town’s evacuation center.

The event, held January 10, is part of the mall’s re-opening photo exhibit with the theme “Rescue, Relief, and Recovery” featuring the mall’s continuing work to help the communities devastated by the calamity.

SM City Rosales was among those inundated during the typhoon and was closed for about a month for repairs.

Aside from the proceeds of the charity ball, SM City Rosales earlier turned over bags of assorted foods, clothing and blankets to Red Cross Pangasinan Chapter.

The event featured live band music; fashion shows with the creations of Milton Salinas of Manaoag and Billy Tamagos of Dagupan City; and an auction of paintings made by members of the Dagupan Artists Circle.
