LINGAYEN–Governor Amado Espino, Jr. has appealed to fertilizer dealers and suppliers in the province to work in tandem with the province to boost Pangasinan’s agriculture industry.

Speaking at the annual Christmas party of two umbrella groups, the Association of Fertilizers and Pesticides Distributors, Dealers and Outlets of Pangasinan (AFPDOP) and the Association of Feeds and Veterinary Distributors and Dealers of Pangasinan (AFVDDP), December 12, the governor asked the associations specifically to extend easy credit terms to farmers especially those affected by the past deluge.

The provincial government earlier provided a counterpart fund for fertilizer subsidy to help the affected farmers.
