LINGAYEN—The schools division of San Carlos City bagged the top post in the 20thPrivate Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) Regional Meet held November 27 to 29 at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center (NRSCC).

The San Carlos de-legation harvested 88 gold medals, 36 silver, and 28 bronze.

Dagupan City came in second with 59 gold, 31 silver, and 32 bronze. Laoag City placed third with 23 gold medals, 62 silver medals and 38 bronze medals.

Most of the medals won by the San Carlos City school division came from the athletic events and chess.

On the other hand, Dagupan City dominated in basketball, taekwondo, lawn tennis, table- tennis and volleyball events. Athletes from Laoag City shone in badminton, softball and beach volleyball.

The games were participated in by about 1,000 athletes.
