“Batang Star” search is on
THE regional finals of the 2009 Search for Batang Star is underway for children ages 8-10 years old who have demonstrated physical, emotional and intellectual excellence.
“The Search for Batang Star aims to communicate the importance of nutrition on a child’s overall growth and development and highlight Star Margarine’s height proposition,” said brand assistant Vanessa Escaño.
She added that the contest, through the Star Nutriskwela School Tour, will help spread awareness about good health and adequate nutrition.
The school tour, which has been running for four years, is a venue for parents and children to learn and explore the benefits of proper nutrition.
The chosen Batang Star will get a chance to appear in one of STAR Margarine’s television materials.
