FORMER Public Works and Highways Sec. Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. has expressed confidence the people of Pangasinan will support his bid for the presidency.

He cited his affinity with Pangasinenses by his marriage to the former Alma Cabanayan of San Nicolas as well as his track record as a government official. He is running under the Lapiang Manggagawa (Labor Party).

The former Philippine National Police director-general, a native of Zambales, served as police chief of Dagupan City in the 70’s and Pangasinan provincial director in the early 90’s.

He said he has also been visiting many other places around the country to know the pulse of the electorate.

He said he is “looking into the one third of the total voting population which remains uncommitted.”

“It might look unthinkable at this time, but I will win the presidency,” he said.
