YMCA Pangasinan based Team Dagupan City scores 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze in the concluded National Karate-Do Championships held June 24 and 25, 2006 at YMCA Gym, Tayabas, Quezon Province.

This is an annual activity of the Philippine Olympic Committee and the National Sports Association of Karate-Do, The Philippine Karate-Do Federation as part of the Philippine Olympic Committee Festival.

Jayson Ramil O. Macaalay of Special Science-Lyceum Northwestern won Gold in the 14 to 15 Boys Kata, Fidel Salvador B. Reyes of University of Luzon won silver 14 to 15 Boys Kata, and Gerard Martin Tamayo of Dagupan City National High School won the bronze in the 11 to 13 Boys Kata.

Jayson and Fidel made their presence felt in the early going and played a fantastic game eliminating all their opponents in the field of 73 participants in the 14 to 15 Boys Kata event to arrange an all Dagupan City Finals.

Team  Dagupan is supported by YMCA Pangasinan and the Dagupan City Government.
