OVER CHRISTMAS LIGHT CONSUMPTION: Family given run-around by fiesta exec committee

The Christmas lights that adorned the city’s bridges in the country were meant to cheer up residents and visitors. But unknown to the delighted public, a number of households were held hostage by the city hall and the fiesta’s executive committee.   The Christmas lights were illegally connected to private homes and still the city government took its time reimbursing the households for the costs of the consumed electricity.
