KABABAIHANG RIZALISTA—Rose Vallo Cruz, a native of Calasiao and president of the Kababaihang Rizalista, Inc. in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, continues to inculcate in the minds of the Filipino-Canadian youth the vision, aspirations and works of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, while promoting the Filipino culture among Filipino-Canadian women through her annual Miss Maria Clara project. Cruz was the “2009 Ms. Calasiao” during the town’s fiesta on May 3, 2009.
