PCL Chair Michael B. Fernandez was recently elected Faithful Navigator of the Knights of the Columbus, Msgr. Antonio Padilla Assembly ACN 1582, in Dagupan City.

Sir Knight Fernandez won against his lone contender, Past Grand Knight Gilbert Cerezo.

Fernandez is a past Grand Knight of the Pangasinan Council and former District Deputy of District L-36 before his recent election. He succeeds outgoing Faithful Navigator Renato Millan.

Other newly elected officers are PGK Noel Maniacop, Faithful Captain; SK Faustino Salvador, Faithful Pilot; SK Gildo Co, Faithful Comptroller; SK Manolo Filomeno, Faithful Scribe; SK Armand Castro, Faithful Purser; PFN Renato Millan, Faithful Admiral; SK Wally Caguioa, Inner Sentinel; SK Tony De Vera, Outer Sentinel; SK Florencio Gabrillo, Trustee for 3 years; SK Ramil Villamil, Trustee for 2 years; and SK Augusto Cesar Ventenilla, Trustee for 1 year.

They will serve for the Columbian 2009-2010.

The Msgr. Padilla Assembly, ACN 1582 serves under the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan and is composed of member knights who have reached the fourth degree status.

Retired Prosecutor Daniel Terrado acted as Comelec Chairman while SK Orly Aquino and SK Ernesto Brosas, as members.
