UL runners rule Dagupan Milo Run

UNIVERSITY of Luzon’s (UL) runners, which had the biggest delegation, proved to be the fastest as a team in the recent 36th Milo Run, Dagupan Elimination.

Individual victories went to Merdeliza Disu, a BSIT student, who emerged as the champion in the distaff side of the 10-kilometer run while Raymund Torio and Angie Botardo grabbed first runner-up honors in 10K men and 21K women.

Other notable UL finishers were Lodencio Rabina, 3rd runner-up 10K men, Jorelyn Vergara, 4th runner-up 5K women, Joanna Mabalot, 8th place 5K women and Willy Baillo 10th place, 21K men.

The team’s management team is composed of head coach Nancy Navalta, UL executive director, Dr. Luis “Chito” Samson, Jr., and Seato Gonimil, the sports director of the University of Luzon Institute of Sports and Physical Education.
