Power interruption in eastern Pangasinan

AN INTERRUPTION in electricity supply will be experienced in parts of eastern Pangasinan when the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) shuts down of some of its transmission facilities for scheduled maintenance work.

On May 29, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., the affected areas are Lingayen, Binmaley, San Carlos, Basista and Malasiqui as the Central Pangasinan Electric Cooperative, Inc.’s (CENPELCO) substations in Lingayen, Binmaley, San Carlos and Malasiqui Substations will temporarily not get supply.

From 7 to 7:45 a.m. and 5:30 to 6 p.m., the affected areas are Bugallon, Mangatarem and Urbiztondo to facilitate load shifting of power

NGCP said normal operations will immediately resume after work completion.

Affected customers and the general public are advised to take the necessary preparations and precautions for this scheduled interruption.
