SM Santacruzan features Pangasinan designers
THREE Pangasinan designers will be honored for their contribution to fashion trends as their gown creations take the spotlight during the Grand Santacruzan at SM City Rosales today at 2:30 p.m.
The featured designers are Billy Tamagos from Dagupan City, a foremost traditional Filipiniana dress designer; Rian Fernandez from Alcala, known for his eclectic designs for Binibining Pilipinas and Miss Earth candidates; and Glenn Gonzales from Villasis, a finalist in the Project Runway Philippines where he was hailed for his futuristic style.
Donning the gowns are the winners of Limgas na Pangasinan 2012, Dagupan’s Bangus Festival Queen, other beauty queens from San Carlos, Dagupan, Urdaneta, Laoac, Manaoag, San Jacinto, and Mangaldan, as well as from the University of Pangasinan, University of Luzon, and Colegio de Dagupan.
Children from Feliz Academy and elderly from the Senior Citizens Federation of Villasis will be joining the parade, representing the ‘Kiddiecruzan’ and ‘Seniorcruzan’.
Aside from the Santacruzan, the designers’ creations will be on display at the “Tatlong Anyo ng Filipinana” exhibit at SM City Rosales The Event Center.
