Penology Officer exam set Aug. 12
APPLICATIONS for the Penology Officer Examination is now open and will be on until June 28, the Philippine Civil Service Commission (PCSC) announced.
The exam, scheduled on August 12, is conducted to establish and register eligible applicants for appointment to second level ranks in the Bureau of Jail Management Penology (BJMP) and other related agencies.
Romulo V. Nabua, Senior Personnel Specialist at the CSC Field Office in Lingayen said BJMP and Non-BJMP Personnel without Penology Officer Eligibility are qualified to take the exam for advancement in the service.
Application forms are available at all CSC Regional and Field Offices or could be downloaded from the CSC website www.csc.gov.ph/FORMS/CSForm100Revised2012.pdf.
Applicants from Pangasinan may file their papers at the CSC Regional Office No.1 located in Quezon Avenue, San Fernando City La Union or at the CSC Field Office at the Capitol Complex, in Lingayen.
