Two arrested for illegal fishing
INFANTA—Two persons were arrested on April 19 by the Infanta police while fishing with the use of an air compressor which is prohibited under the Philippine Fishery Code.
The suspects were identified as Lito Delegencia, 42, and Brian Dalusong, both fishermen from Barangay Lipay, Sta Cruz, Zambales.
Confiscated from their possession were one 16HP motor (Brigss and Stratum), one air compressor motor, one compressor tank, one eye goggle, one roll of plastic hose at more or less 150 meters, one improvised fin and more or less six liters of oil and other fishing paraphernalia.
