U.S. Dagupeños presents award to VM Fernandez
DAGUPAN Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez will receive this year’s “Dayew na Dagupan” award given by the Dagupan City Association of Northern California (DCANC).
Bernard Valdez, chairman of the awards committee, said the award will be presented to her in recognition of her “outstanding public and community service to the people of Dagupan City” in recent years.
The awarding is set on April 22 at the Crowne Plaza in Airport Blvd in San Francisco, California during the annual dinner and ball of the DCANC, an association of Dagupan residents living in Northern California.
The association is headed by Marlene Garibay as president with Ruby Daroy as vice president. The other members of the awards committee that selected Fernandez as recipient of the award are Mert Manela, Penny Cagampan, Epee Rafanan, Veon Rafanan, Pacita Aringulan and Eva Aquino.
