TEAM YMCA- Filipinas Wado Ryu brought home four gold and two bronze medals from the 6th PTKS Invitational Karate Championships held December 6 at the Robinsons Mall in Pasig City.

The four who won gold were John Enrico Vasquez of Mother Goose Special Science system (9 years old below advance Kata), Matthew Serafica of St. Robert Bellarmine (6-7 Kata), Kaille Juguillon, of LNU-Creative Montessori (10-11 years old girls kata) and Celina Koleen Juguillon of LNU-Creative Montessori (8-9 kata).

Juguillon (8-9 kumite) and Alexis Louise Nunez of Divine Word Academy in Dagupan City (10-11 boys kumite) won a bronze each.

The 6th PTKS Championship, organized by the Pro-Traditional Karate Sports Association and Robinson Mal, is part of the development program of the Philippine Karate-Do Federation and the National Sports Association of Karate, which is recognized by the Philippine Olympic Committee.
