Re: Pareng Spines – Distribution of water pumps and grass cutters

With vainglorious display of political obfuscation, the lapdogs of Governor Espino, went before the left wing loons of the media, to regale sorry sight Pangalatots, the   of these much awaited Chinese-made-easily-damaged farm equipment.

It was November, 2011, six (6) months to the day, when this … Pareng Spines … boondoggle showed its corrupt and ugly face, whereby Executive Assistant now Sports Director Modesto Operaña, a toady, was pushed forward to announce to Mayor Jonas Castanéda, the first thirty (32) ordered out of fifty (50) pumps to be used to irrigate unirrigatable Lingayen. As far as we know since then, nobody knows what happened to those water pumps.

The water of a pump . . .

I will have to double back, to let Pangalatots know what kind of water pump Pareng Spines has his greasy hands on. This pump is manufactured in Wuxi-Jiangsu, China by the W&H Technology Company.

Model – PG207 . . . a single cylinder, 4 strokes air-cooled gasoline engine with a fuel capacity of 3.8 liters. It has two (2) inches diameter outlet, which can spit out 1000 liters per minute or 250 gallons per minute. The size of this water pump’s not enough to water the whole barangay even it will take it the whole administration years of Pareng Espines. And with the cost of fuel, it will become like the beached whale of a … dredging machine … of Benjie Lim.

The kickback . . .

If the whole of Pangalatotland’s 1,333 barangays are to be provided – how much will it cost plus the … grass cutter?

Let us use the – shotguns of the Kapitans – our goal post, where it cost Pareng Spines twelve (P12, 000.00) pesos apiece. So, we can assume each water pump will cost … minus the lubricant … sixty (P60, 000.00) pesos at best, while the grass cutter at its normal price, is thirty (P35, 000.00) five thousand pesos. A double whammy on ignorant Pangalatots.

Go figure – how much is the share for every … rat, cockroach, snake, termite … in the sanctum sanctorum at Urduja.
