Justice Thomas is not the subject, Philippine tax law is. Whether Justice Thomas paid his taxes or not has nothing to do with the subject of DAGUPAN schools taxation.
On the subject of who pays U.S. taxes or not, remember nearly every one of Obama’s cabinet appointments were remiss with their taxes including his secretary of the treasury, John W. Snow, who is supposed to be the top dog of the IRS yet owes nearly $100,000 in unpaid taxes.
As far as my interpretation of the Republic Act, it’s all there for all to see in black and white. Any idiot can find it if he has enough brains to look for it. Typical of those of the liberal bent, if something is black and white, they all pretend that it is of another color or doesn’t exist, especially lawyers looking for a deep pocket to pick.
Again, if the schools are profit making they should be paying the same taxes as any other business does. Going to court is only a waste of city funds, something the city can ill afford.
