Sri Lanka prexy praises PH drug war

By Gonzalo Duque

THE big news for Dagupenos is the passing on of former Mayor Benjie Lim last Wednesday. Condolence to his loving wife, Kumareng Manang Celia, son Vice Mayor Brian and other family members.

Life is like that. Nobody knows how it will end. We are therefore called upon to be ready and prepared for it.

We remember Benjie as a former Philippine Jaycees leader, former Duty Free manager, mayor and congressman. We wish him eternal rest.

Ironic when we were informed about Benjie’s passing, which happened on our birthday. Contrasting feelings, ano? Tagalagang ontan so bilay, agagui. We should treat life as a gift from the Lord.

Ay, oo nga, Benjie through then buddy Maning Roy (kanayon nen FVR) played an important role in President Ramos’ campaign. The rest is history.

As we wrote this, nation’s eyes are on the Pacquiao-Broner boxing fight slated today.

Pustahan tayo, panalo na naman ang Pambansang Kamao. Ang type ng karamihang Pinoy ay ang rematch nila ni Mayweather. Sana matuloy na. And he retires. Ok ba?

Marami ang bilib sa Achievements ng Mayor Belen na nasa tarps. Paano, totoo naman ang mga yan e! You should be proud of your mayor. Congrats, Mayor Belen!

Marami ang nagtatanong regarding our rooting for Christopher Bong Go for the senate. Ang sagot natin, Bong is the personification of President Digong who enjoys the highest acceptability ratings. May tatalo pa ba diyan?

Our hope is he will top the senate race in Pangasinan para malakas tayo sa Palasyo. Ayos ba, Manny baby?

The whole world continues to salute President Digong’s drug war. The latest admirer is Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena.

Totoo naman. Kung wala si Pangulong Digong, what do you think would happen to the country?

Sabi nya: “The anti-drug success in the Philippines should be a world model.” Now you know why Digong remains popular.

It just occurred to our mind. One late night, we saw a pretty lady, maybe a nurse, naglalakad sa may Tondaligan area para mag-abang ng jeep papuntang población. Ano na kaya kung hindi panahon ni Digong, malamang na-raped na yon, di ba? With Digong, aabante pa ang Pinas!

Mabuhay!
