Pogi sets tone for Christmas gaiety

By Gonzalo Duque

THE Christmas spirit is slowly coming to town.

It’s a welcome respite from the killjoy floods that almost spoiled our days.

Aha, no. 1 beneficiary ng Christmas ay si Mayora Belen Fernandez.

Why? Her name bespeaks it all! Belen kwanyo pa?

Over at the Capitol, Lingayenses and, of course, fellow Pangasinenses were treated to a beautiful pre-Christmas celebration at the Kapitolyo Wednesday evening.

Led by Gov. Pogi Espino (talagang pogi yan lider, agagi,) the reenactment of Jesus’ birth, the colorful tableaux, the music, fireworks were done with finesse.

It’s now clear to all and sundry. The youthful governor who, by the way, we want to know more (unlike the erpat whose friendship we have known for a long time) made a nice speech. Malayo pa ang mararating ng pogitong gobernador.

Have you come to Cong. Pol Bataoil’s idyllic Purok Marcella in Lingayen?

If not yet, you are missing something beautiful and enthralling!

We were guest of the Cultural and Athletics program of the Luzon Central I Division on Friday there, and what a delightful experience!

We felicitate VP Vilma Agapito thru Ms. Monalisa Nardo, and the rest of the gang.

Somebody who looks like Norman Velasco called our attention to the installation of our son Nestor “Nanoy” as More Than Conquerors Breakfast Club president Norman, younger brother of Jun V, reports that Nanoy speaks highly of his father (ahem….). Does he have a choice Norman?

Kidding aside, it really makes us in the family proud to have a son who has the making of a Christian preacher.

Congrats, Conquerors, and God bless!

There are speculations that Bonuan Gueset might become a municipality due to its non-stop progress.

Under Kapitan Noel Bumanglag, the barangay is not only the biggest in land area, but also most progressive.

Noel, by the way, is brod-in-law of Mayor Belen. Hmmm…. may pinagmanahan pala e.

May your tribe increase!
