Mayor Belen cares for children

By Gonzalo Duque

THE Liberal Party was only to blame for botching the job – for playing contravida to the President.

You know now what happened to the LP stalwarts – Senators Franklin Drilon, Bam Aquino, Kiko Pangilinan and Risa Hontiveros.  They have been stripped of power in the Senate.

Yan ang napala ng mga hindi fair players.

Wala pang isang taon si Pangulo kung ano-ano na ang panggugulo ang ginagawa!!

Too early to dream of retaking Malacanang, mga abay!

The President still enjoys high acceptability ratings.

Why? Because he does the right things. Ang pulitika niya ay trabaho lang literally.

Kaya yan, grabe ang popularidad niya.

You know, the masa knows what’s happening.

Kaya si Chairman Mao, ang laging primer niya: learn from the masses.

Did he not topple Chiang Kai Shek’s forces with masa action?

He encircled the power centers with masa power.

A similar thing is happening with Digong.

Look, whoever among the presidentiables backed the people’s wrath on drugs? Nobody touched the subject in the campaign trail. Only Duterte did! Go to every barangay, every sitio, every home, ask them their pet peeve! It’s droga!

Pangulo saw it. And he fought it. He is still fighting it. The whole country loves him for fighting it.

Kaya nung pinahinto ang operation because some policemen are involved, 20% ang bumalik na pushers!

Sa matinding galit, ginawa ng mga legislators na igawad ang kamatayan sa mga nagdo-droga!

            Korek yan, but only partly.

Dapat death penalty should also be meted on kidnappers, carnappers, plunderers which are done by big-time syndicates.

In Dagupan, we should congratulate Mayor Belen Fernandez for her continuing care and love for children.

In the Summit for Children in which we attended last week, we saw how the mayora dramatized her love for children – thru music. The well-known National Philharmonic Orchestra and Raul Sonico performed here.

BTF was visibly happy!

Mayor Belen also mobilized the city to celebrate National Arts Month!

Bihira ang LGU head na tumututok sa mga ito, mga finer things in life.

Sayang ka, Jun V… you were meaning to attend the Philharmonic Concert but inuna mong pinuntahan si Dino Zabala, 59!

At, oo nga, our sincere condolences to the family of newsman Dino Zabala who succumbed to lung cancer last week.

Magsisilbing aral sa inyo sana ito, mga chain smokers!

May Dino Zabala rest in peace.
