‘I told you not to vote for me’—Duterte

WE, most of us, must have been lustily entertained by the “bloody” testimony of Edgar Matobato, who claims to be a member of the Davao Death Squad, against President Digong at the televised Senate hearing on summary killings.

Ho-hum! Was there any thing new?

We’d like to take you back to the campaign days.

Digong has consistently told the electorate: “Pag ibinoto nyo ako, magsisisi kayo. It will be bloody.”

Then he added: “kasi gagawin ko lang ang dapat.” Droga, criminalidad ang problema, korapsyon, terrorism, poverty. These are or may be interlinked.

So nandiyan na tayo.

At the Senate hearing, halata naman si Senator Trillanes… he pressed off the microphone of Senator Peter Cayetano. Ang bastos naman! And then kitang-kita nyo naman ang pagka-biased ni Senator Leila de Lima, she was using her chair to bamboozle the proceedings.

Mabuti na lang at alert si Senate President Koko Pimentel, who rejected placing Matobato under the Witness Protection Program.

Obvious kasi ang manipulation by the yellow group which wants to topple the President this early. Or, did you not smell, malapit nang ibulgar ni President Digong ang another Narcotics List?

The yellows want to downgrade the list with a supposed a headline-making testimony by a hired hack.

IN Dagupan we are glad to report that excellent water services will now reach the barangays of Malued, Caranglaan, Perez-Herrero, Rizal and probably, if the Tondaligan Blue Beach Subdivision Homeowners could get their acts together! (May problema pa ata eh? Ka Jun?)

OK na ang Carael water service, ditto with adjoining barangays Pugaro, Sitio Tocok and Suit. The Carael water issue was taken up by Mayor Belen with Kapitan Velasquez. And all is well that ends well.

With Mayor Belen’s full support, your water district is making water service hereabouts/excellent, affordable and efficient.

There’s talk about the revival of a proposed from Metro Dagupan governing system in light of similar problems affecting municipal entities with contiguous character.

Water issue in Dagupan is similar with that in San Fabian, Mangaldan, San Jacinto, etc., and other concerns like Waste Management, flooding, peace and order would demand a solution that would surely spill over the neighborhood.

It’s really our hope that our local officials would enlarge their lenses to be able to find common ground for the well-being of their constituents.

This integration of efforts will find their mark in the proposed Federal government as envisioned by President Digong.
