MAYBE it can be told now.

With the high-flying and superb performance of President Duterte, and a jubilant electorate, the character of our electoral system, we believe, must have been very much upgraded.

Congrats, 16 million-plus voters who made Digong president.

Amigo, Presidente, you deserve the warmest applause.

Hindi umubra yong mga paninira ng so-called guardians of democracy, human rights and the church against a feared “dictator” and probinsyano.

We were happily told by a breakfast forum group that described Pangulong Digong’s presidency as having scored successfully on drug criminality while all the past administrations ended as failure!

It’s obvious President Digong’s effective anti narco-politics exposed the non-performance record by our past leaders! Hindi ba?

It’s inspiring to note that two highly revered leaders of the Catholic Church–Bishop Oscar Cruz and former Cardinal Gaudencio Rosales are now ardent supporters of President Duterte?

They realized that Digong, after all, is a sincere leader. No, not only sincere, in point of fact, he is effective!

Obvious, di ba?

Erap once denounced the so-called hoodlums in uniform, and hoodlums in robes. But hanggang doon na lang!

In President Digong’s case, they – the hoodlums in uniform or in robes – were unmasked and knocked out!

Walang takot ang Digong! He walks the talk. No less than former President P-noy is shocked about the extent of narco-politics tearing the land, and he didn’t do anything about it.

At the home front, we are elated by reports that the Dagupan Sangguniang Panlungsod has decided to tackle a proposed sewerage ordinance soon.

A duo in the frontline of this happy development are Councilors Jigs Seen and Joey Tamayo.

Keep up the good work, boys.

We thank Mayor Belen Fernandez, too, for her support on this.

We understand every single thing is now in place for Dagupan City to schedule soon a Peace and Order Council summit to fine tune how our locals are keeping in step with President Digong’s take on the judiciary.

There are non-stop reports about killings of pushers hereabouts, hitting innocent bystanders.  If this is true, we must at once correct it.

We read somewhere that our new Gov. Pogi Espino is fast adjusting to his new tough job as governor. Many say that it’s still cumpadre Spines who calls the shots at the Capitol.

Well, probably, guide lang, pasasaan ba at hahayaan niyang hindi mag-mature ang beloved son?

We honestly think Cong. Spines who means well for Guv’nor Pogi and the province, will enable him to be his real self as the leader of the province. Bilib tayo sa the best of the best intentions ni dating gubernador para sa anak.

We just heard ang daming miting na nakasked si Guv Pogi. That’s great!

Good luck, Guv’nor Pogi

Carry on, Erpat’s golden record!
