Of Duterte, PNP and drugs

BUTUYAN

“ONE LOVE, ONE NATION, ONE GOD” – That’s quite a tall order. In this country, there are many loves, though there’s supposed to be only one wife; Bangsa Moro wants to be a separate nation, and there are also drug lords, jueteng lords and kindred lords everywhere.

“NO FARMER WILL BE EJECTED FROM LAND” –Do we still have a Constitution?

“TOWN POLICE PROBED OVER ILLEGAL DRUG SUSPECT’S HOSTAGING OF PNP STATION’S CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES. “-Familiarity breeds contempt.

“POLL SERVER IN SPOTLIGHT ANEW” – Expect more eyebrows to rise as the ballot boxes in election protest recounts unravel more mysteries. But don’t blame the machines. They’re not as human as those who program them.

“IF YOU CANNOT GO TO SYRA (TO COMMIT ABDUCTIONS) JOIN US- (THE ABU SAYYAF)” It’s more fun in the Philippines!

“CHIEF JUSTICE STANDS UP TO TRAFFIC CRISIS POWERS” Now it’s the President who’s facing a power crisis.

“ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK EYES HIGHER LENDING TO PHL THIS YEAR” – Not to finance summary killings, let’s hope.

“BIR CHIEF CESAR DULAY REVOKES HENARES ORDERS” – We finally have a commissioner with balls, brains and a heart.

“DUTERTE TO PNP: KILL 1,000, I’LL PROTECT YOU.”Before, during or after?

“NOY OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES STAY UNTIL JULY 31” – Who says our natural calamities are over?

“DAYS 1 AND 2: DRUG SUSPECTS DIE.” – Banish the drug lords andeliminate the drug menace once and for all.

“DFA CHIEF PERFECTO YASAY, JR.: PHL COMMITTED TO IMPLEMENTING EDCA” – Better than wasting our time and resources on EDSA.

“DUTERTE WANTS TO TORCH BILIBID” -. But it’s a hell of a place already.

DPWH DONATES SCHOOL SUPPLIES, BAGS TO STUDENTS” – Maybe the DepEd should also donate sand and gravel, and the DOJ should give away rice and vegetables.

“MOST OF THE VICTIMS OF DRUG-RELATED KILLINGS WERE POLICE ASSETS THEMSELVES WHO KNOW TOO MUCH, AS THEY MIGHT ‘SING’ AND HURT MANY POLICE OFFICIALS.” – If the drug lords, instead, are killed many in the PNP, including a lot of politicians, would mourn inconsolably.
