The Duterte effect

WE heard Mayor Belen and Vice Mayor Brian Lim are back in their old habit – fight mode.

Their peeve was BTF’s pet project, passage of the proposed CLUP or Comprehensive Land Use Plan.

Brian is insinuating vested interest in Belen’s obsession to fast track its approval on the ground that juicy portions of the proposed economic zone are her property or owned by her kins.

Panangasi yo pala, ipasantabi ni tay politika and selfish interest. Manpasnok si Digong.

Now you see what we mean for being pro-Digong. He means business in fighting crime.

No, don’t believe the wild talks that the mayor turned president is just making gimmicks. He means to eliminate all the pushers and merchants of drug abuse.

Rody Duterte’s psywar on drugs is earning him sky high points, even when he is not yet president. You are seeing it on the many arrests and raids everywhere.

How is the Pangasinan police taking Duterte’s crime drive?

With the father and son, Guv. Spines and Guv-elect Pogi having declared an all-out war vs criminality, we expect Sr. Supt. Alan Okubo and his Dagupan counterpart Chris Abrahano to see action ASAP.

We are happy to learn that Speaker JdV has taken concrete action to stop the drug problem in Bonuan Binloc. Dapat lang.

How? My grapevine says he has the kapitan, his kagawads and others called to his house and given stern warning to shape up or get collared by Digong, saludo tayo kay kuya Joe.

If other influential leaders like Kuya Joe will only do the same on the drugs issue, we will make a big difference in the drive. Problem is most people don’t care… Until they become victims themselves.

A little birdie sent this: “Friends are the most perfect and lasting treasures you can keep. There’s nothing like having someone to talk to whenever you’re weary… Someone who will accompany you where you want to go… And behind the fun, someone who will be there to hear your problems and to hear you cry.”

Thumbs up!
