War vs. drug lords declared anew!

“SORBETES” merchants and traders are at it again!

No, we couldn’t stop them.

What we should instead do and hold sacred is to help our voters hold on to a commitment to truth, clean living and aversion to crime?

Because our very life, our very existence, our very reason still imbibing precious oxygen, food, family, loved ones and all that impinge on our existence crucially depends on the safety-ness of our homes, our very own abode!

Deal with crime lightly, and you are finished. We should value this precious life God has gifted us with.

If not, parang itinapon ninyo lang sa hangin… parang ginawa ninyong walang value, walang kwenta ang buhay na ipinagkaloob ng inyong mga magulang at Poong Maykapal.

This, dear Punch readers, is the very reason this columnist is squarely behind Mayor Rody Duterte’s presidential platform… because he is flesh and bones against criminality lalo na yang pinag gagawa ng mga drug lords para masira ang kabataan at future ng ating bansa.

Ponder this: All the presidential candidates are silent on the death penalty EXCEPT Digong Duterte!

We’re glad because 96% of those surveyed favor Duterte’s pro-death penalty stance.

The other presidential pretenders are pandering to the popular, the religious wannabes, etc. But Digong has a decision. Yan ang president, de ba?

An old woman last week cried on our shoulder mourning the fate of her son who at 29 was hooked in drugs. May dalawang anak, at ang asawa ay naging palaboy dahil walang hanapbuhay.

Nagla-labandera, nagpapa-alila magka-pera lang para may ipakain sa mga anak. Nakatira sa barong-barong. Ang saklap talaga!

A bureaucrat was testing our stern advocacy on drugs. He asked: what will we do with the drug lords?

We said, no, we don’t just put them behind bars in Muntinlupa.

We should impose the death penalty against them.

You know what happened to drug king Pablo Escobar? When he was clamped in jail? Because of his millions of dollars earned from drugs, he was able to convert his jailhouse into a kingdom!

Rehas, no!  They will tear them down. Rehab? No hope! Dapat six feet below the ground ang mga ganyan.

The awful truth is we, the Philippines, are at war against drugs led by the drug lords. In war, we expect to kill or be killed.

Shabu is so horrific an enemy because it makes the brain of the user small, unable to see reality as normal people see it.  Stop wondering then why we are fighting tooth and nail the drug menace.

We don’t want our children to fall into the drug’s bottomless pit.

Being a chancellor of a university, we know our mandate: to give the youth a bright future, not a blight future.

Please help us achieve our golden vision for education, the safety and happiness of everyone is our life’s goal.

A vote, support for Duterte will bring us closer to that noble goal.
