Let’s make Philippines drug-free, ala Davao!

THIS citizenship case being filed against Senator Grace Poe may be tough.

It’s not refreshing news. People were festive when she blew into town – thanks to the invitation by our friend Sendong So, the guy who was FPJ presidential campaign.

We were told that Grace was received warmly in her sentimental visit especially in the city of her lolo’s birth – the late Fernando Poe Sr. in Barangay Caoayan-Kiling in San Carlos City.

We are happy for her – and the Poes’ loved ones.

But on the other hand, the presidential or vice presidential race is no picnic. Grace may be good as a senator or vice president. But as president? Baka tama si Jojo Binay who is being abandoned by the presidency, an experienced leader is needed.

The citizenship issue hounding her will put her maturity to the test. Let’s see how she deals with it.

The election fever is in town. Panahon na naman ng intrigahan, siraan, at siyempre, wartahan.

Ilag, mga greenhorn politikos! Amot kila no agyo labay so nangorat!

We were asked how our friend Mayor Rody Duterte could win a presidential contest, when he has no billions.

Yan din daw ang tanong ng ilan na endorsers niya like Philippine Star columnist Alex Magno, PDI’s Neal Cruz, GMA’s Mike Enriquez, ABS-CBN’s Anthony Taberna, PDI’s Mon Tulfo at iba.

Money, this time, won’t be an issue. We strongly believe that the main issue facing this country is peace and order. Without a semblance of normalcy, the economy would limp, nay, collapse.

Lately, we received reports that shabu selling is going on in the town of Calasiao like nobody’s business meaning it’s done directly in the open market. We hope Mayor Mark Macanlalay is not too busy in the campaign to be able to see and know this.

And so it’s not the white puto that was sold? We asked our informant.

Naku pagtuunan niyo ng panahon iyan, please lang, father and son, Vice Mayor Roy and Mayor Mark Macanlalay.

Pag nagkataon sira po na ang kabataan, sira ang kinabukasan. Walang sinasanto ang drugs na yan. The future is bleak, kaput, imbis na hope of the fatherland ang mga kabataan ay salot na!

If things won’t improve, we predict the Philippines will fall like Columbia, the mecca of drugs world-wide. Huwag naman po.

And to us, the clear answer is a Duterte presidency. The other presidentiables may be ok, but they don’t have Duterte’s guts.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating, they say.

True. Look at Davao now. Patay ang mga pushers.

That’s why there’s a reign of peace in Durian City. Masaya ang mga pamilya at mga tao roon.

Let’s make the whole nation a Davao, beloved place of drug-free citizens!

Ha? Grace would make a good president because she has the brilliance of a Marcos?

Hmmm…. don’t tell us that! No one has been born yet to think and act like the Ferdinand Marcos.

Baka si Bongbong… but he’d be no match to our bet Rody Duterte in a tried and tested capability to tame a nation.

To quote the immortal words of our friend, the late former Gov. Ager Rosario — ag ti pala mantitilaan!

Ok, ngarud?

May nakabasa sa item natin on Chris Abrahano, Dagupan Police Chief. Bakit daw sinabi ng column na ito na “promising.”

Well, we call a spade a spade. Iyon naman ang totoo.

He failed our ratings with a grade of 5 – re our appeal for him to stop noise pollution in Barangay Tapuac.

Let’s see if he has stopped it now. That would be the time we’d write, ok ka, Chris, carry on.
