THREE individuals from Dagupan City were arrested, following a buy-bust operation by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Retchie Camacho, PDEA Pangasinan Team Leader, said that the suspects Bernadette Navarro, 48; Marcos Paras, 59; and Noel Muerong, 44, all considered high value targets (HVT) were nabbed in Barangay Herrero-Perez early dawn.

“We did a surveillance on the suspects long before our operation, and we concluded that they are HVTs due to the number of transactions they are engaged in”, Camacho told The PUNCH.

The PDEA operatives seized 10 pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, with a total weight of 50 grams and a P 340,000 street value.

Also recovered were one P1000 bill, and two bundles of boodle money used to entrap the suspects, three cellphones, and one tricycle used by the suspects.

The suspects are known to operate in Central Pangasinan.
