THREE high school students from Pangasinan who brought home gold medals from the Asia Pacific Arts Festival (APAF) held in Singapore were commended by the provincial board.

Cited were Performing Arts Studio students Rea Mae Graham of Dominican School, Miyah Angela Dar of Mother Goose Special Science High School and Jillian Kay Madison Fernandez of Ateneo High School who won gold in contemporary dance category.

“The three young and talented Pangasinense ladies have amply demonstrated their skills in the said competition by connecting their minds and bodies through a combination of the different dance genre elements,” the approved resolution sponsored by Second District Board Members Nestor Reyes and Von Mark Mendoza said.

The APAF is a cultural exchange program celebrated through performing arts competitions to promote harmony, peace and global friendship.

Graham is from Barangay Domalandan Center, Lingayen while Dar and Fernandez are from Barangay Bonuan Boquig and Barangay Lucao, respectively, in Dagupan City. (PhilStar Wire Service)
