Herald Eleria, mall manager, said the mosaic that measures six feet by eight feet, pays tribute to the Philippine flag and to Pangasinan’s famous tourist destinations such as the Basilica Minore of Manaoag, Alaminos City’s Hundred Islands, Bolinao Lighthouse, Mt. Balungao, St. Vincent Ferrer Statue which is the world’s tallest bamboo statue located in Bayambang and the corn of Sto. Tomas used for its Longest Barbeque, both recognized by the Guinness World Record.

It took the 13 students of Feliz Academy Inc. of Villasis two weeks to finish this art form.

“The materials used were simple and affordable and the result was beautiful,” Eleria said.

SM City Rosales intends to donate this artwork to a Pangasinan museum for its historical value. (PhilStar Wire Service)
