“Dagupan will be one of the first localities to implement this law,” said Rivera.

Rivera added that an infirmary adjacent to the satellite office will soon be built in collaboration with the DOH Regional Office to serve island barangays with the help of a sea ambulance.

Free medical and dental services such as consultation, prenatal check-up, immunization, tooth extraction, urinalysis, blood typing and many more were provided after the simple rites.

Also present during the ceremony were Fr. Ronald Navato, barangay officials of Bonuan Gueset led by Noel Bumanglag, Bonuan Boquig led by Joseph Maramba.
