Nazareth General Hospital marks 60!

THE Nazareth General Hospital (NGH) in Dagupan City, one of the region’s premier hospitals, marked its 60th founding anniversary with a medical mission on June 5, 2019.

To reiterate its commitment and mission to provide optimal healthcare services to the community, NGH medical staff conducted a medical mission “Kalusugan mo, Kalinga ko…” at the Divine Word Academy of Dagupan Gymnasium on June 5 and served health needs of 1000 beneficiaries.

Excondes celebrating 60th year (Contributed)

This mission provided free medical consultations free medicines and laboratory and radiological imaging for diagnostics.

Free surgical procedures were also done for cleft lip operation, laparoscopic cholecystectomy and ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography).

During the night of celebration on June 6, NGH’s founder Dr. Edumdo Exconde led members of his family, Drs. Edmundo Exconde Jr., Diane E. Ydia and Butch Ydia in citing the services of loyal consultants and employees who dedicated their services and profession through NGH:

Loyalty Awards (Lifetime) – Dr. Antonio Coquia, Ernesto Tabion, Oscar Alarte, Amelia Andaya; Consultants- Dr. Ricky Querubin (Radiologists) – 30 years; Dr. Venus Floro (In-house Physician) – 27 years; Dr. Efren Jovellanos (Chairman Department of Medicine) – 26 years; Employees- Benjie Baraquio (Institutional Worker) – 41 years; Maria Victoria De Jesus (Chief Pharmacists) – 32 years; Bernard Arenas (Institutional Worker)-  23 years; Melinda Ubando (Chief Med. Tech.) – 23 years.

The hospital’s doctors, current and former employees gathered at the Panaderia Antonio in Calasiao to celebrate the  6 decades of service to the public.
