60 cops, mediamen avail of local absentee voting

LINGAYEN–Sixty policemen and four local mediamen in Pangasinan cast their votes early in the local absentee voting held at the Pangasinan Police Command here on April 30 for the May 13 elections.

Lawyer Eric Oganiza, officer-in-charge provincial election supervisor that April 30 was Pangasinan’s schedule for those qualified to vote for the absentee voting scheduled nationwide from April 29 to May 1.

The voters voted manually only for senators and party-list representatives. The results of the election will be added to the consolidated number of votes nationwide after the May 13 elections.

Commission on Elections personnel supervised the conduct of the absentee voting here with members of the Philippine National Police in Pangasinan acting as an electoral board, Oganiza said.

Those who availed of the local absentee voting expect to  be on duty during the elections in their respective work. (PhilStar Wire Service)
