Bangus Festival Mega Job Fair offer opportunities

MORE than 500 jobseekers and fresh graduates sought to fill up vacant positions offered by 29 local and two overseas companies at the Bangus Festival Mega Job Fair sponsored by the city government at CSI Atrium on April 13.

The activity was facilitated by the Public Employment and Services Office (PESO) Dagupan, in cooperation with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

PESO Manager Jocelyn Siapno said it was the fifth mega job fair held in conjunction with the annual Bangus Festival.

PESO Dagupan regularly conducts local and special recruitment activities for walk-in job seekers in addition to the job search assistance offered by her office which helps job hunters find work that would match their skills.

“We also post regular updates on our official Facebook page (PESO Dagupan) for those who are interested to participate in other recruitment activities,” added Siapno.

PESO Dagupan will also conduct recruitment activities in colleges and universities. (CIO/VDV)
