2 Solid North buses stoned by riding in tandem
BAYAMBANG—Two unidentified persons riding in tandem stoned two Solid North air-conditioned buses plying Pangasinan – Quezon City.
The two Solid North air conditioned buses were stoned in the same area along the national road in Bayambang at past 12: 00 a.m. on April 16.
First to be stoned in the vicinity of Brgy. Amancosiling Norte, Bayambang was Solid North bus with plate No. UVH 382 driven by Robert Fajel. The second was Solid North bus with plate No. UVH 362 driven by Noel Ramos.
Initial investigation showed that the first bus was heading towards north when it met an unidentified single motorcycle with two unidentified persons on board who stoned and broke the tempered glass of the passengers’ fourth window on the left side of the bus.
A kilometer away from the first incident, the same suspects stoned the next bus of Solid North, hitting its right front windshield.
P/Brig. Gen. Romulo Sapitula had warned all chiefs of police in Pangasinan to stop stoning incidents or get sacked and transferred to another assignment. (Leonardo Micua)
