THE Department of Trade and Industry Pangasinan has assured consumers that majority of big supermarkets in Pangasinan are following the latest suggested selling prices (SRP) set by the Department of Trade and Industry Consumer Protection and Advocacy Bureau.

The bureau conducts monitoring of basic necessities and prime commodities weekly to ensure the stability of supply and prices are within the suggested retail price.

DTI also assists the Department of Agriculture in the monitoring of agricultural products in different key areas in Pangasinan.

OIC-Provincial Director Natalia B. Dalaten encourages consumers to complain retailers selling products above the set SRPs. The SRP list can be viewed and downloaded at dti.gov.ph.  (PIA-DTI)
