BM Sison cited for leadership

PH BOARD MEMBERS LEAGUE

SECOND District Board Member Raul Sison recently made his district and province proud.

Sison was cited as Most Outstanding Board Member and for being a lone awardee of the Leadership Excellence Award by the Provincial Board Members’ League of the Philippines (PBMLP) during its convention held at the Manila Hotel on Feb 21.

Sison, the only board member in the Philippines who received such an award, said he feels honored for the award even as he thanked the PBMLP for giving him such a recognition for his work as a legislator.

Sison is joined by PBMLP officers led by National Chairman Ryan R. Enriquez (second from left) after receiving his Leadership Excellence Award.

Per PBMLP ’s tradition, other graduating board members like him were also honored during their annual convention. In Pangasinan, aside from Sison, those in their third term are Board Members Napoleon Fontelera (1st) District, Generoso Tulagan Jr. (3rd) and Clemente Arboleda Jr (5th).

Sison said the award will serve as his inspiration to serve his constituents even better.

During his first term, Sison was elected as chairman of the PBMLP Region 1, elected as national treasurer on second term and interim vice president on third term.

Sison is running for representative for Second District in the May 13 elections.

Known as a fighter for the masses, he also earned the moniker as “Mr. Exposè” in the provincial board of Pangasinan for his sustained campaign against graft and corruption after delivering six privilege speeches.

“I want the people to remember that I am someone who has balls, a fighter,” he said. (PhilStar Wire Service)
