3 drug pushers arrested in Dagupan
THREE persons, including a namesake
of TV star Kris Aquino, were arrested in two separate buy-bust
operations conducted by the Dagupan Police on February 26.
The arrested Kris’ namesake was Kris Aquino y Medalla, alias “Nancy”,
26, of Bagong Baryo, Bonuan Gueset; and her cohort Matthew Casilang, 26, of
Barangay 2 & 3, also in Dagupan.
The two conspired to sell one sachet of shabu worth P500 to a police-poseur
buyer in a buy-bust operation set by elements of the Drug Enforcement Team
(DET) of the Dagupan Police.
Five more sachets were seized by lawmen from Aquino and another sachet from
Casilang.
Arrested in another buy-bust operation by the Dagupan Police was Darryl de
Vera, also known as “Ipe”, 22, of Sitio Aling Arellano in Barangay
Pantal.
The operation against De Vera was conducted at the Dagupan Pool Site in
Barangay Poblacion Oeste at 11:30 p.m. on February 26.
A member of the operating team who disguised as buyer paid P500 marked money to
the suspect in exchange for one sachet of shabu.
As soon as the suspect received the money, lawmen nabbed him. Two more sachets
containing suspected shabu were seized from De Vera when he was frisked.
All three are facing a case for violation of Article II, Sections 5 and 11 of
