Pusher arrested in drug buy-bust
SAN CARLOS CITY—A known drug pusher was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted jointly by the San Carlos City Police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Barangay Bani here at 3 p.m. on February 5.
Arrested for selling one sachet of shabu to a police undercover was Larry Garcia, alias ‘Porong’, 32, a tricycle driver, of Barangay Balaya, San Carlos City.
Found and confiscated from his possession was another sachet containing shabu, the marked money and the suspect’s motorcycle that had no plate number.
The two transparent plastic sachets of shabu were submitted to Regional Crime Laboratory Office, Camp Brig. Gen. Oscar M Florendo in San Fernando City, La Union for laboratory examinations.
A case for violation of section 5 and 11 of RA 9165 was filed against the suspect. (Leonardo Micua)
