KUYA J, the country’s fastest growing chain of Filipino casual dining restaurants, bring the best of Filipino cuisine to Pangasinenses through its 107th store at the ground level of SM City Urdaneta Central.

Richard Joseph Li, Kuya J chief operating officer, hosted local newsmen to the launching.

“From our huge success in Metro Manila and Cebu, we are happy to share the news that diners in the northern part of Luzon, particularly those in Urdaneta, can now enjoy Kuya J’s signature dishes without having to travel far,“ Li said.

The new store can sit up to 124 customers expected to enjoy Kuya J’s signature brand of delicious Filipino dishes, among them the best-selling crispy pata, kare-kare, caldereta, grilled scallops and Pinoy’s favorite dessert, Halo-Halo Espesyal.

The opening of the new store is seen as another milestone for the chain that sees more opportunities for further expansion.

Kuya J started as a humble eatery in Cebu, and has since established a unique franchise program that offers world-class support and financial assistance for aspiring entrepreneurs, providing not only best-tasting Filipino dishes but also business opportunities and employment to more Filipinos nationwide.
