Team Benchmark rules 2018 unity fun run

LINGAYEN– Team Benchmark reigned supreme and beat seven teams in the UnityFun Run competition of the Pagalaw tan Olupan ed Gobyerno Itanduro (POGI) Sportsfest 2018 held at Lingayen Baywalk on December 12.

With 20 runners per team, five participants from Team Benchmark won all categories.

The winners in the 39-years old and below male category (5K run) and female category (3K run) were Dexter V. Espiritu with his time 21 minutes and42 seconds and Ayesha Michelle V. Torres with 14 minutes and 31 seconds.

Bagging the championship in the 40-years old and above male category (5K run) and female category, were: Ricky Quinto (23:48) and Niela Joy Giron(16:52).

Rounding up five wins for Team Benchmark was Rex Matthew Ambanloc and finished the 7K race in 30 minutes and 10 seconds.

Runners up in each category were 5K run for male (39 years old and below):2nd place,Warriors (Gilbert Santiago), 3rd place,  Builders (Arjay Tullao); 3K run for female (39 years old and below):2d place, Builders (Melanie Ramos), 3rd place Generals (AuroraTerrado); 5K run for male (40 years old and above):2nd place,Builders (Bernardo Quimcruz), 3rd place, Warriors (MarioLopez); 3K run for female (40 years old and above):2nd place,  Benchmark(Edna Lomboy), 3rd place, Warriors (Nerilyn Lomibao; and 7K run (open category): 2ndplace,Generals (Robinson Cervantes), 3rd place,Builders (Efreiy Versoza).
