Gov. Espino and top winners of the Centennial Photo Contest flash ‘Number One’ sign. Governor Amado I. Espino III (3rd from left) flashes the Number One sign together with the top winners of the Centennial Photo Contest launched by the provincial government as one of the highlights of the 100 years establishment of the Capitol building. The launching program of the centennial stamp on December 17 followed by the opening of the photo exhibit at the Capitol ground floor was participated in by the top winners of the photo contest. The photo entry shot by multi-awarded photographer Willie Lomibao (4th from left) stood out and was adjudged the best entry. Lomibao’s photo titled, “Capitol Selfie” depicted pride and excitement of two young Pangasinenses while taking selfie at the façade of the elegant centennial edifice with the giant I Love Pangasinan logo in the foreground. Some 300 entries that were submitted to the Provincial Information Office (PIO) were reviewed and judged by the Federation of Philippine Photographers, Inc. (FPPFI) chairperson Eduviges Huang and president Pablo Beltran, along with the federation resident photography instructor Amergo Alba on December 9 at its main headquarters in Intramuros, Manila.
