Five arrested for marijuana use, possession
LINGAYEN–Four drug personalities were arrested by the Dagupan Police after they were caught smoking marijuana leaves by barangay officials in Poblacion Oeste, Dagupan City on
December 10.
Arrested were Mico Joshua Bayarcal, 21, Justin Ruseel Suyan, 19; Roniel Rosario, 18; and Paul John Tirao, 23, all residents of Poblacion Oeste.
Confiscated from them were one sachet containing suspected dried marijuana leaves and one improvised glass tooter filled with marijuana leaves.
In Urdaneta City, one Anjo Armando, 25, a resident Barangay Bobonan in Pozorrubio, was arrested by the police for possessing one small plastic sachet containing dried marijuana leaves.
Police operatives from Pozorrubio and Urdaneta City were conducting a joint follow-up operation/investigation of a theft of a motorcycle reported in Pozorrubio when they chanced upon the suspect in Brgy. Poblacion, Urdaneta.
A body search on the suspect upon his arrest by the police found one plastic sachet containing dried marijuana leaves in his pocket.
The arrest led to the recovery of the stolen motorcycle, in Brgy. Nibaliw, San Fabian. (Leonardo Micua)
